Rendera 1.1.0 - Animation Events & Performance Boost
Version 1.1.0 introduces two major improvements to the Rendera 3D renderer plugin for Construct 3. First, we've implemented a comprehensive animation event callback system that enables seamless communication between the Rendera singleton and Rendera-Control instances - addon developers can now register callbacks to receive animation events (start, loop, complete, frame, stop) and trigger Construct 3 conditions based on 3D model animation states. Second, we've optimized the shadow mapping pipeline to completely bypass the shadow rendering stage when no lights are casting shadows, eliminating unnecessary WebGL state queries and improving performance by avoiding 11 GL state operations per frame when shadows aren't needed. Additional improvements include a new ShaderUniformCache for better uniform location management, frame-based GL state caching for shadow maps, and various performance refinements throughout the rendering pipeline.
