We need your votes to support 3d fragment lighting
Construct 3 3DObject Plugin » Devlog
We are very close to getting official support for 3d frag lighting with effects with the latest beta. We just need one more change to make it all work and then we'll have nice dynamic 3d frag lighting effects for C3.
We need your votes to make it happen!
- Worked on 3d frag lighting last night, so far can't monkey patch around one final issue, which I really hope C3 can implement in the next beta (it is adding an output from the default shader, just passing through aPos to frag shader.)
- if that is done, we could 3d frag lighting (and others) via effects with full effects control.
Please vote here, you need a github account, easy to sign up for one too (and github is a great free tool for code versioning and backup):

If C3 implement's the change, then we can do this!

Voted! Exciting stuff.
Made a GitHub account just to rate and comment!
voted, lighting / shadows is must be for all serious game engines
how do you vote? is it just a thumbs up? and wat other cool effects would be possible?
Just a thumbs up, that's right.
We may be able to start doing things like decals on 3d objects, snow, weather effects, height based fog, etc.
